(AURS ROAD, BARRHEAD) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2026
On the 20 May 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on a section of Aurs Road (from Dovecothall Roundabout southbound for a distance of approximately 30 metres or thereby), Barrhead, in order to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Power utility works scheduled to be carried from 08:00 on Monday 6 July to 17:00 on Friday 17 July 2026.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route: Aurs Road – Springfield Road – Springhill Road – Ralston Road – Main Street and vice versa.
