What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PENNWOOD LANE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Pennwood Lane at its junction with
Church Hill to outside property 65.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 6th June 2026 until 7th June 2026.
The diversion route is: Wakeley Hill, Church Hill & vice
versa.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service
connection by Cadent Gas.
