(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
a) Ellis Road, Crowthorne between Old Wokingham Road and Lyon Road.
The alternative route for this closure is Ellis Road, New Wokingham Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Old Wokingham Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 8th June 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on the 8th June from 09:30 until 15:30 only.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
