Ascot - Temporary Waiting Restrictions for Royal Ascot Works

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD (A329 HIGH STREET (PART), ASCOT) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:

Prohibit Waiting on that length of A329 High Street, Ascot, on both sides of the carriageway, from outside and opposite the entrance to HMR Car Park in an eastward direction to its junction with Station Hill.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely the installation and removal of footway bridges for Royal Ascot event and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order will come into operation from 01:00 hours on Monday 1 June until 19:00 hours on Wednesday 3 June 2026 and again between 00:01 hours and 19:00 hours on Tuesday 23 June 2026.

The restriction shall apply when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
