The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.08) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway comprising the north western leg of the Cain Road roundabout at Bracknell, in the Borough of Bracknell Forest. This is to enable development as permitted by Bracknell Forest Council under reference 22/01008/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO9091447). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Bracknell Library, The Avenue, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 1BH.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 27 May 2026.
