What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

The County Borough of Conwy (Ffordd Gyffylog Eglwysbach) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Conwy County Borough Council has made an Order to prohibit vehicles to proceed in that length of Ffordd Gyffylog Eglwysbach from junction of Waen Fechan Road to the junction of Gyffylog Farm Entrance

The alternative route will be via Waen Fechan Road, Rhandir Road, Bodnant Road, Eglwysbach Road and back onto Ffordd Gyffylog and vice versa. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services

The Order is necessary to facilitate works by Openreach and comes into effect on 1 June 2026 for a maximum period of 7 days.

RHODDIR RHYBUDD fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy wedi gwneud Gorchymyn i wahardd unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd y rhan honno o Ffordd Gyffylog Eglwysbach o’r gyffordd â Ffordd Waen Fechan i’r gyffordd â myneda Fferm Gyffylog.

Bydd y ffordd amgen ar hyd Ffordd Waen Fechan, Ffordd Rhandir, Ffordd Bodnant, Ffordd Eglwysbach ac yn ôl i Ffordd Gyffylog ac fel arall. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau brys.

Bydd y Gorchymyn, sy’n angenrheidiol er mwyn hwyluso gwaith gan Openreach, yn dod i rym ar 1 Mehefin 2026 am gyfnod o ddim mwy na 7 diwrnod.
