(Blessington Road Area) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) Order 2026.
Notice is hereby given that the Council intends to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding:-
(1) Along: - (a) Burleigh Road South, from its junction with Walton Breck Road for a distance of 10m in a southwesterly direction;
(b) Venice Street, at its junction with Walton Breck Road;
(c) Pulford Street, from its junction with Walton Breck Road for a distance of 14m in a northerly direction;
(d) Burnand Street, from its junction with Walton Breck Road for a distance of 14m in a northerly direction;
(e) Blessington Road, from its junction with Walton Breck Road to its junction with Balfour Street;
(f) Attwood Street, between its junction with Sleepers Hill and Nº3 Attwood Street;
(g) Saker Street, from its junction with Sleepers Hill to Nº5 Saker Street; &
(h) Norgate Street, from its junction with Sleepers Hill to Nº5 Norgate Street.
(2) In a northerly direction along Sleepers Hill, from its junction with Bodley Street to its junction with Anfield Road.
(3) This Order shall be operative from the 16 June to 2 August 2026, or for such a lesser period of time as dictated by the early completion of the works which are to safely enable gas maintenance works to be carried out.
(4) A signed diversion will be erected for the duration of the closures.
