What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

HYDE PARK AVENUE N21

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times

“At any time” on 1 June 2026 for 21 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Firs Lane, for approximately 40m.

CLIFFORD ROAD N9

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 1 June 2026 for 8 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, from its junction with Nightingale Road to outside No.s 21/20 on both sides of the road.

ELMWOOD AVENUE N13

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 1 June 2026 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking between No.s 13-21/23 on both sides of the road.

CHASE SIDE CRESCENT EN2

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 1 June 2026 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road and suspend parking between No.s 20-34 on both sides of the road.

STAGG HILL EN6

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Telecom Works

Operational Date and times:

“Between 20:00 – 06:00 on 1 June 2026 for 5 nights or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to reduce the speed limit from 50 mph to 30mph on Stagg Hill between Waggon Road and Stagg Hill roundabout.

TANNERS END LANE N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 1 June 2026 for 10 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking, from a point opposite No.s 74-81.

COLLEGE CLOSE, FORE STREET, COLLEGE GARDENS, COLYTON WAY N18

Reason for 14(1) Order – Public Safety

Operational Date and times:

“At any time” on 2 June 2026 for 18 months until works are completed.

NOTE: [This notice supersedes the notice incorrectly titled College Close, Fore Street N18 published on 20th May 2026 which also contained typographical errors which have now been corrected.]

The general effect of the Order will be to;

College Close

  • suspend parking, from outside No.11 for approximately 15.5m northbound

Fore Street

  • suspend parking from outside 165 Fore Street N18 for approximately 5m northbound

College Gardens/Colyton Way

  • suspend parking from outside No 28 for approximately 53m eastbound to its junction with Colyton Way and into its junction for approximately 14m; and
  • suspend parking between 1-43 westbound for approximately 28m to its junction with Colyton Way and into its junction for approximately 8m.

    THE GRANGEWAY N21

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works

    Operational Date and times:

    “At any time” on 15 June 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.

    The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking between its junctions with The Chine and Old Park Ridings on both sides of the road.

    The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Whilst roads are closed local diversions will be in place and access will be maintained only as far as the works allow for more information contact 0208 379 2039 or email NRSWA@enfield.gov.uk
