TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 18/12/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the following: 

That length of Public Bridleway No. 83 Abbots Bromley Parish from its junction with Footpath no. 61 Abbots Bromley Parish for approximately 230 metres to its junction with Bridleway No. 5 Kingstone Parish at a bridge. 

That length of Public Bridleway No. 5 Kingstone Parish from its junction with Bridleway No. 83 Abbots Bromley Parish for approximately 560 metres to its junction with Footpath No. 18 Kingstone Parish.

The closure is required due to the unsafe condition of the footbridge and subsequent works required. No alternative route is available.

A plan has been displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 15/12/25 and has been extended for a further period of twelve months, until 26/5/27 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. 

This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 26/5/26 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along: 

The Village, Cedar Wy, School Ln, Kitlings Ln, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149999028. The Order will come into operation on 29/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 20/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Whittington Ln, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB149492323. The Order will come into operation on 3/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 1/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/6/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT poly duct installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 29/5/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/5/26 The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the BT Pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 15/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 24/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the water main renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Order will come into operation on 16/6/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 10/7/26.
