Temporary Closure of Footway Between Glanvill Avenue and Thorndun Park Drive

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding along; Footway Between Glanvill Avenue and Thorndun Park Drive - from outside property number 10 Glanvill Avenue to outside property number 20 Glanvill Avenue. A total distance of 38 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out ducting works.

The Order becomes effective on 10th June 2026 and will remain in force for 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 17th June 2026 and last until 19th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 3 days.
