GORCHYMYN CEFNFFORDD YR A483 
(PONT ABRAHAM I LANDEILO, SIR GAERFYRDDIN) 
(CYFYNGIADAU CYFLYMDER DROS DRO A DIM GODDIWEDDYD) 202-

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A483, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Pont Abraham a Llandeilo, Sir Gaerfyrddin.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwneud y canlynol dros dro:
i. gosod terfyn cyflymder o 50 mya, 40 mya neu 10 mya ar y darnau o gefnffordd yr A483 a ddisgrifir yn Atodlen 1 i’r Hysbysiad hwn; a

ii. gosod terfyn cyflymder o 10 mya ar y darnau o gefnffordd yr A483 a ddisgrifir yn Atodlen 2 i’r Hysbysiad hwn.

Disgwylir mai dim ond yn ystod gwaith confoi bydd y terfyn cyflymder o 10 mya yn gymwys ac ni chaniateir goddiweddyd ar yr adegau hyn.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 15 Mehefin 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y cyfyngiadau a’r gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol yn ysbeidiol o 00:01 o’r gloch ar y dyddiad hwnnw am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf. Bydd hysbysiad o’r holl gyfnodau gwaith yn ystod y cyfnod hwn yn cael ei arddangos cyn iddynt ddechrau.

Terfyn cyflymder 50 mya, 40 mya neu 10 mya dros dro a dim goddiweddyd
Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 280 o fetrau i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o ochr ddwyreiniol Cylchfan Pont Abraham hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol Tyˆ-croes.

Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol Cilyrychen hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol Derwydd.

Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol Derwydd hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol Ffair-fach.

Terfyn cyflymder 10 mya dros dro a dim goddiweddyd
Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd ag ochr ddwyreiniol Cylchfan Pont Abraham hyd at bwynt 280 o fetrau i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’r gylchfan honno.

Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol Tyˆ-croes hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol Cilyrychen.

Y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol Derwydd hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol Derwydd.

THE A483 TRUNK ROAD 
(PONT ABRAHAM TO LLANDEILO, CARMARTHENSHIRE) 
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTIONS & NO OVERTAKING) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A483 trunk road between Pont Abraham and Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily:
i. impose a 50 mph, 40 mph or 10 mph speed limit on the lengths of the A483 trunk road described in Schedule 1 to this Notice; and

ii. impose a 10 mph speed limit on the lengths of the A483 trunk road described in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

The 10 mph speed limit is only expected to apply during convoy working and no overtaking will be permitted at these times. 

The Order will come into force on 15 June 2026. The temporary restrictions and prohibition are expected to operate intermittently from 00:01 hours on that date for a maximum duration of 18 months. 

Notice of all work periods during this time will be displayed prior to their commencement.

Temporary 50 mph, 40 mph or 10 mph speed limit and no overtaking
The length of the trunk road that extends from a point 280 metres north-east of the eastern side of Pont Abraham Roundabout to the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Tycroes.

The length of the trunk road that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the northern end of Cilyrychen to the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Derwydd.

The length of the trunk road that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the northern end of Derwydd to the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Ffairfach.

SCHEDULE 2
Temporary 10 mph speed limit and no overtaking
The length of the trunk road that extends from its junction with the eastern side of Pont Abraham Roundabout to a point 280 metres north-east of that roundabout.

The length of the trunk road that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Tycroes to the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the northern end of Cilyrychen.

The length of the trunk road that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Derwydd to the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the northern end of Derwydd.

The length of the trunk road that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit sign at the southern end of Ffairfach to its junction with the southern side of Llandeilo Roundabout.
