Strawberry Road - Prohibition of Motor Vehicles and Revocation
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make the City of Salford (Strawberry Road, Salford) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles and Revocation) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES (with exemption for e-scooters used in the Trial) on: Strawberry Road, from the south westerly projected kerbline of Gore Steet to its junction with Broad Street Service Road.
(The one-way traffic restriction on Strawberry Road between the above-mentioned junctions will be revoked).A copy of the proposed Order, the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order, the plan and a copy of the Order that is to be revoked may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Details can be viewed online at http:// www.salford.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/roads/trafficorders/.
