Temporary Closure of High Street

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: High Street - from the junction with Bishops Lane, southwards for a total distance of 38 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out remedial defect works.

The Order becomes effective on 27th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 4th June 2026 and last until 4th June 2026 between the hours of 09:00 - 15:30 for a total of 6.5 hours.
