ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC 149769691 :
The City of Manchester (Various Streets, Various Wards) Various Orders 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Various Streets in the Various Wards.
The alternative routes for traffic will be signed locally to the Ring Road.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Great Manchester Run 2026.
It is expected that the works will be in progress from 30th May 2026 to 31st May 2026. The order shall come into operation on 30th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
