Temporary Closure of Herne Rise

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Herne Rise - from outside property number 94 Herne Rise to outside property number 98 Herne Rise. A total distance of 42 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to replace a joint box.

The Order becomes effective on 10th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th June 2026 and last until 16th June 2026 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
