What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE –
ANSTEY ROAD, ALTON, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED:
that part of Anstey Road between its junction with Anstey Lane and its junction with Murray Grove.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Anstey Road, Draymans Way, Butts Road, Selbourne Road, A31, Montecchio Way.
DURATION OF ORDER:
from Thursday 28th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Hampshire Tree and Garden to complete crane works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquiries@hampshiretreeandgarden.co.uk.
