What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – RINGWAY WEST CARRIAGEWAYS, BASINGSTOKE & DEANE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

Ringway West Northbound between its junction with Ringway West and its junction with Brunel Road.

Ringway West Southbound Carriageway between its junction with Brunel Road and its junction with Ringway West.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:

Brunel Road, Winklebury Way, Roman Road, A339, Ringway West.

Brunel Road, Houndsmill Road, Aldermaston Road South, A339.

DURATION OF ORDER:

from Tuesday 26th May 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 months working between the hours 19:00-06:00).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for UK Power Solutions to complete utility works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: streetworks@ukpowersolutions.co.uk.
