What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURES – JUNCTION ROAD FOOTPATHS & WESTERN AVENUE FOOTPATH (N-S), ANDOVER, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATHS TO BE CLOSED:
- Junction Road Footpaths between its junction with Western Avenue Footpath (n-s) and its junction with A3057 Western Avenue.
- Western Avenue Footpath (n-s) between its junction with Junction Road Footpaths and its junction with West Street.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE:
Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite side of the road.
DURATION OF ORDER:
from 8th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 2 months, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The footpath closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cain Bio-Engineering to carry out habitat improvement construction works. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: info@cainbioengineering.co.uk
