(TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY BETWEEN MARRIOTT ROAD AND AWBRIDGE ROAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (Temporary Closure of Public Right of Way Between Marriott Road and Awbridge Road) Order 2024, which was made by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council on 18/11/2024, and which came into effect on 25/11/2024, and had been extended to expire on 25/05/2026, has been further extended by the Secretary of State for Transport until 25/11/2026, or until works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the order is the temporary closure of the Public Right of Way between Marriott Road and Awbridge Road for the purpose of construction of a new housing development. Diversions for all pedestrian traffic shall be via: Marriott Road, Yew Tree Road, Yew Tree Hills, Ounsdale Drive, Awbridge Road, and vice versa.
Access to frontages and for emergency services will be maintained where safe to do so.
