What is happening?

THE CITY OF SUNDERLAND
(BURDON ROAD PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND OTHER RESTRICTIONS)
TRAFFIC ORDER 20xx

NOTICE is given that Sunderland City Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 45, 46, 49 and 122 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, by virtue of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act. The effect of the proposed order will be to: (i) introduce no waiting at anytime restrictions on those sections of highway listed in schedule 1; (ii) introduce prohibition of loading restrictions operating all days and all hours on those sections of highway listed in schedule 2; (iii) introduce on-street pay and display parking places operating all days and all hours with a charge of £1.00 per hour or part thereof or £3.50 per day on those sections of roads in Schedule 3 below; and (iv) revoke a number of items from a traffic order affecting the area as listed in Schedule 4 below. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected during normal opening hours at City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland SR1 3AA, until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to proceed to make the Order. Schedule 1.01 No Waiting At Any Time. Burdon Road, Hendon, Sunderland (i) the west side from a point 176.7 metres south of the intersection of its western kerb line and the extended southern kerb line of Borough Road, for a distance of 6.2 metres in a southerly direction, and (ii) the west side from a point 233.0 metres north of the intersection of its western kerb line and the extended northern kerb line of Park Road, for a distance of 32.5 metres in a northerly direction. Schedule 2.01 Prohibition of loading & unloading: At any time.
