Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 20th April 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Station Road, Penryn between the property named Lee House and grid reference SW77968 34684.

The Order which commenced on the 5th May 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 12th June 2026.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600 on a daily basis, weekdays only. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out to remove existing traffic island and install duct crossing.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th June 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Bridleway 3, Feock for its entire length. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to drainage works. The Order will come into operation on 5th June 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 12th June 2026.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 15th May 2026 for a period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Ruan Minor. This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th June 2026 to 12th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Tregony. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 26th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tregony. This prohibition is necessary for water main works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 24th July 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
