Bridge Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Rail Foot Inspection Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - BRIDGE ROAD, LYMINGTON & PENNINGTON, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Bridge Road between its junction with Almansa Way and its junction with Waterloo Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3054, A337, A336, A326, B3054.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Saturday 13th June 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 night working between the hours 22:15-06:15).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Network Rail to complete rail foot inspection. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: NR@centuriontraffic.com.
