NOTICE OF PROPOSALS TO INTRODUCE ROAD HUMPS

(B1326 STATION ROAD CRAMLINGTON) (NRH_019)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council proposes under Section 90Aof the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers and in accordance with Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and those bodies or persons prescribed by the Highway (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 to introduce road humps in the form of speed cushions on the following roads and locations:

 PLEASE SEE ATTACHED THE DIGITAL PDF OF THE NOTICE, WHICH HAS FULL DETAILS OF THE ROADS AFFECTED AND GRID REFERENCES.

The proposed nature, dimensions and locations of the road humps are as follows:

• Items 1 to 7 - 2 No. Speed Cushions. Width 1,700mm Length 3,000mm Height 75mm (evenly spaced across the carriageway)

A copy of this Notice, together with a plan and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons are available to view or download on the NCC Website https://www.northumberland.gov.uk/roads-and-streets/traffic-management-ordersproposals-and-consultations/traffic-regulation-orders or can be requested by email to HighwaysProgramme@ northumberland.gov.uk, or may be inspected by appointment during normal office hours at County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF – please contact Highways Improvements, Technical Services, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF by email at HighwaysProgramme@northumberland.gov.uk or by telephone on 0345 600 6400 during normal office hours quoting reference: NRH_019.

All objections in relation to this Notice should be directed to Maureen Willcock at the address above or by email to LegalTRO@northumberland.gov.uk and be received by the 13th June 2026.
