Quab Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Pole Replacement Works

Somerset Council Parish of Wedmore Temporary Closure of Quab Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Quab Lane - from the junction with Pilcorn Street, northwards for a total distance of 275 metres. This Order will enable National Grid to carry out overhead reconductoring and pole replacement works.

The Order becomes effective on 26th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd June 2026 and last until 3rd June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:30 for a total of 2 days.
