TEMPORARY 30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON PART OF THE C375 CROFT LANE AND ROAD FROM A12 TO A14, STRATTON HALL AND BUCKLESHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary speed restriction on the following roads:
• 30mph speed restriction:
• C375 Croft Lane, Stratton Hall from 125 metres northeast of the junction with the A14 to the C375 Road from A12 to A14, Bucklesham
• C375 Road from A12 to A14, Bucklesham from Croft Lane, Stratton Hall to Tarmac Bucklesham Quarry
• 40mph speed restriction:
• C375 Road from A12 to A14, Bucklesham from Tarmac Bucklesham Quarry to Red House Farm
• C375 Croft Lane, Stratton Hall from the junction with the A14 for 125 metres north eastbound.
This is to facilitate the installation of electric ducting. Other co-ordinated works may also take
place during this period.
There will be no diversion route.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 26/05/2026 - 14/08/2026 but, if necessary,
the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

PART OF THE C453 GROVE HILL, U4211 SCRIVENER DRIVE AND C495 SWAN HILL, BELSTEAD, PINEWOOD, COPDOCK AND WASHBROOK AND SPROUGHTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C453 Grove Hill, Belstead from the junction with Chapel Lane to the junction with Chapel Lane to facilitate water remedial works.
Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Bucks Horn Lane, Church Lane, London Road, Swan Hill, the A1071, Shepherd Drive, Belmont Road, Ellenbrook Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the:
• U4211 Scrivener Drive, Pinewood from the junction with the A1071 to the junction with Shepard Drive
• C495 Swan Hill, Copdock and Washbrook, and
• C495 Swan Hill, Sproughton.

THE B1353 THORPE ROAD, B1069 SNAPE ROAD AND THE U2305 SLOE LANE, ALDRINGHAM CUM THORPE, FRISTON AND KNODISHALL
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a 30 mph speed restriction on the following roads:
• the B1353 Thorpe Road, Aldringham Cum Thorpe from Elm Tree Farm for 2400 metres eastbound
• the B1069 Snape Road, Friston from 120 metres southwest of Sloe Lane for 380 metres south westbound
• the U2305 Sloe Lane, Knodishall from the junction with the B1069 for 254 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate site access and egress. Other co-ordinated works may also take place
during this period.
It is intended that these measures will operate from 26/05/2026 - 01/09/2027 but, if necessary,
the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
