Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that, at all times, for approximately 01-15 days in the period between Friday 22 May 2026 until Friday 03 July 2026, or when the works has been completed, a 6-foot 6-inch width restriction will be introduced along Great Preston Road, Ryde, in all directions, for its entire length. The restriction is required during works in the area for carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 22 May 2026 and Friday 3 July 2026 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1800 hours on Monday 25 May 2026, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along High Street for its entire length. On-street signage will depict the exact length of the closure. The alternative route will be signposted locally the closure is required for safety during Bembridge Street Fair. The diversion will be signposted locally.
