THE HAMPSHIRE (FAREHAM) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2023 (VARIATION NO. 7) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 12th May 2026, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Act and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement no waiting at any time restrictions as described below:

EastBetween a point 35 metres north of its junction with Langstone Walk and a point approximately 20 metres north of that point.

West(i) Between a point 50 metres east of its junction with Sharpness Close and a point approximately 70 metres north of that point.


(ii) Between a point 40 metres south of its junction with Patchway Drive and a point approximately 35 metres south of that point.
Oldbury WayBothBetween its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 10 metres west thereof.

NorthBetween a point 80 metres west of its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 5 metres west of that point.
South(i) Between a point 30 metres west of its junction with Pilning Close and a point approximately 5 metres west of that point.


(ii) Between a point 30 metres west of its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 25 metres west of that point.
Patchway DriveEast(i) Between its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 35 metres north thereof.


(ii) Between a point 45 metres north of its junction with Charfield Close and a point approximately 35 metres north of that point.


(iii) Between a point 40 metres north of its junction with Aust Road and a point approximately 10 metres north-west of that point.

West(i) Between its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 10 metres north thereof.


(ii) Between a point 95 metres north of its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 30 metres north of that point.


(iii) Between a point 25 metres north of its junction with Cromhall Close and a point approximately 5 metres north-west of that point.
Pilning CloseBothBetween its junction with Oldbury Way and a point approximately 20 metres south thereof.
Sharpness CloseBothBetween its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 15 metres north thereof.
Sibland CloseBothBetween its junction with Greyshott Avenue and a point approximately 10 metres south thereof.

DATE OF OPERATION: The order will come into force on Wednesday 27th May 2026

(ii) Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices Customer Services, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7AZ (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 08.45 – 17.15)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UJ (Opening hours: Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 – 17.15; Fridays 8.30 – 16.45)

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Friday 3rd July 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
