THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Chalk Ln, Hyde Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Chalk Ln for approx. 131M. Alternative route: Chalk Ln, Amersham Road, London Road, Hyde Ln, Chesham Road, Hyde Heath Road, Brays Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst bridge maintenance commences on 1 June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Curriers Ln, Burnham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Curriers Ln for approx. 50 M. Alternative route: Dorney Wood Road, Longmead Ln, Green Ln, Curriers Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commence on 12 June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: One Pin Ln, Collinswood Road, Parish Ln and vice versa. The closure is required whilst an interim to permanent works commence on 15 June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Slade Oak Ln, Denham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Slade Oak Ln for approx. 30M. Alternative route: Gorelands Ln, Vache Ln, Amersham Road, London Road, Gravel Hill, Chalfont St Peter Bypass, Redhill, Oxford Road, Denham Avenue and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water works commences on 8th June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8th June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Hitcham Ln, Taplow) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Hitcham Ln for approx. 74M. Alternative route: Hitcham Ln, Hitcham Road, Boundary Road, Hill Farm Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works commences on 3rd June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3rd June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Missenden Rd, Great Kingshill) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Missenden Road for approx. 55 Ms. Alternative route: Cryers Hill Road, Valley Road, Hughenden Road, Temple End, Glenisters Road, Frogmoor, Arch Way, Oxford St, Oxford Road, Abbey Way, St Mary St, Abbey Way Gyratory, Queen Victoria Road, Crendon St, Amersham Hill, Amersham Road, Whielden Ln, Amersham Bypass, London Road, Missenden Bypass, Link Road, High St, Station Approach, Martinsen Ln, Wycombe Road, Missenden Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst PROVIDE 1X NEW POLE commence on 28 May 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 May 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Knaves Beech Way, Loudwater) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2026 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Knaves Beech Way for approx. 45M. Alternative route: Knaves Beech Way, London Road, Station Road, Boundary Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Bucks works commences on 3rd June 2026. The proposed Order will come into operation on 3 June 2026, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No’s. 2/2 & 2/3, Parish of Stoke Mandeville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No’s. 2/2 & 2/3, from the level crossing and continues either side of the level crossing for the length of approx. 35M. The alternative route whilst the closure is effective is via existing highway and Public Footpath No.1, Parish of Stoke Mandeville. The closure is required to allow for works to proceed in connection with the approved South East Aylesbury Link Road. The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
The Council intends the Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 66/3, Parish of Bledlow cum Saunderton) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2026 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath commencing at the junction of RDN/FP/9/1, RDN/FP/11/1 & RDN/FP/8/1 and continues approximately 150 metres northeast along BCS/FP/66/3. Alternative route is along Footpath No’s RDN/8/1 & BCS/66/2. The closure is required to allow the building of steps on the footpath to improve access. The Order will come into operation on 1 June 2026, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
