North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Low Lane, Thirkleby, Order 2026, No. 252 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Low Lane, Thirkleby for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 28/05/26 & 29/05/26, due to test rod & roping works install sub duct to existing fibre infrastructure. However, the max duration of this Order is until 28/08/26. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Bedale Road, Scotton, Order 2026, No. 256 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Bedale Road from its junction with Meanee Road southwards to its junction with Hauxwell Lane for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 08/06/26 & 19/06/26 with the road closed between 9:30 am & 3:30 pm each week day, due to footway maintenance works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 26/11/27. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Various Locations - Highways Area 1 & 2, Order 2026, No. 261 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using A167 - Topcliffe Village, A684 - Bedale Bypass & A6055 - Leeming to Scotch Corner for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 08/06/26 & 31/03/27, due to carriageway rejuvenation, carriageway patching, carriageway resurfacing, footway resurfacing, minor civils, drainage works & lining works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Various Roads, Colburn, Order 2026 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to introduce the restrictions specified in the Schedule below:- Schedule - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking Colburn, Chartermark Way, North side from a point 45 metres west of its junction with the west side of Bailey Court (measured along the northern kerbline) to its junction with the west side of Bailey Court - No Waiting At Any Time. Colburn, Bailey Court, West side from its junction with Chartermark Way to a point 12 metres north of its junction with Chartermark Way (measured along the western kerbline) - No Waiting At Any Time. Colburn, Bailey Court, East side from its junction with Chartermark Way to a point 12 metres north of its junction with Chartermark Way (measured along the eastern kerbline) - No Waiting At Any Time. Colburn, Chartermark Way, North East side from its junction with the east side of Bailey Court to its junction with the north side of Battalion Court - No Waiting At Any Time. Colburn, Battalion Court, North side from its junction with Chartermark Way to a point 13 metres east of its junction with Chartermark Way (measured along the northern kerbline) - No Waiting At Any Time. Colburn, Battalion Court, South side from its junction with Chartermark Way to a point 13 metres east of its junction with Chartermark Way (measured along the southern kerbline) - No Waiting At Any Time. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Colburn community library, The Broadway, Colburn, Catterick Garrison, DL9 4RF during normal office hours from 22/05/26 to 12/06/26 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
