What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE A515 LICHFIELD ROAD, SUDBURY
WHEN: 08 June to 13 June 2026 (Night Closures between 20:00 to 05:00)
WHERE: Lichfield Road, Sudbury between Jct. with Main Road Sudbury and A50 roundabout.
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing of the A50 roundabout and high friction surfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A515, A51, A518, A50 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
