Tamworth Road - Temporary Road Closure To Implementation Of Temporary Road Layout
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE TAMWORTH ROAD, MARKET PLACE, LONG EATON
WHEN: 02 June to 03 June 2026 (19:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Tamworth Road, Market Place, Long Eaton between Broad Street, Salisbury Road Jct. and the Derby Road, Nottingham Road roundabout.
REASON: To facilitate implementation of temporary road layout.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Tamworth Road, Fields Farm Road, Main Street, Cross Street, Waverley Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
