TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE C446 SCHOOL ROAD, CODDENHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C446 School Road, Coddenham from Hyridge to the junction with the B1078 to facilitate civil works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1078, Helmingham Road, the road from the U4707 to the U4729, Ipswich Road, Gosbeck Road, Stone Street, Crowfield Road, Lower Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/05/2026 - 31/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF
THE B1116 LAXFIELD ROAD, THE B1116 NORTH OF
DENNINGTON AND BELL CORNER, DENNINGTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
- B1116 Laxfield Road, Dennington from the junction with Severalls Lane for 263 metres northbound
- B1116 North of Dennington, Dennington from Bell Corner for 460 metres northbound
• B1116 Bell Corner, Dennington from B1116 North of Dennington for 51 metres southbound.
This is to facilitate telegraph pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion routes will be:
- the B1118, the B1117, the B1077, the A1120 and vice versa
- the B1116, the B1117, the B1118 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/05/2026 - 24/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8408 The Street, Elmsett from the junction with Whatfield Road to the junction with Hazel Wood to facilitate the installation of a fibre network. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Flowton Road, Elmsett Road, Ipswich Road, Hadleigh Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/05/2026 - 31/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

THE B1121 SAXMUNDHAM ROAD AND
ROAD FROM A12 TO A1094, FRISTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:
• B1121 Saxmundham Road, Friston from Friston House to the junction with Kiln Lane
• B1121 Road from A12 to A1094, Friston from the junction with Kiln Lane for 100 metres northbound.
This is to facilitate laying 1000m of duct. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1121, the B1119, the B1069, the A1094 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 23/05/2026 - 31/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1152
WILFORD BRIDGE ROAD, MELTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1152 Wilford Bridge Road, Melton from the level crossing for 20 metres eastbound and 20 metres westbound to facilitate a new power supply connection and ducting for railway level crossing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
The usual exemptions for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will not apply.
The diversion route will be the A1152, the B1069, the B1078, the A12, the A1152 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on:
• 9pm on 23/05/2026 - 8am on 24/05/2026 and
• 9pm on 24/05/2026 - 7am on 25/05/2026 and
• 9pm on 30/05/2026 - 8am on 31/05/2026 and
• 9pm on 31/05/2026 - 7am on 01/06/2026.
But, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
- C717 Swan Street, Boxford from no. 1A Sherbourne Street to the junction with Homefield
- C717 Swan Street, Boxford from no. 29 Swan Street to no. 32 Swan Street.
This is to facilitate ducting and cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Church Street, School Hill, Boxford Lane, Assington Road, Sudbury Road, Newton Road, Northern Road, Waldingfield Road, Chilton Corner, Lavenham Road, The Street, Haymarket, Humble Green, Milden Hall, Powney Street, Boxford Road, Roundmaple, Daisy Green, Church Street, Swan Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 26/05/2026 - 29/05/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
