(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS ON HYDE LANE, NASH MILLS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hyde Lane, Nash Mills from its junction with Lower Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 196m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Lower Road, Bunkers Lane, Bedmond Road and Hyde Lane.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order will come into effect from 8 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF QUEENSWOOD CRESCENT, WATFORD) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Queenswood Crescent, Watford from its northernmost junction with Sheepcot Lane south westwards, south eastwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 359m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Sheepcot Lane.

The Order is needed because gas main works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order will come into effect from 8 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 14 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via A4145 (Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road), A4178 (Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road), A412 Rickmansworth Road and Whippendell Road.

2. that length of A4145 Hagden Lane, Watford from its junction with Kelmscott Crescent north westwards to its junction with Queens Avenue, a distance of approximately 79m.

An alternative route will be via A4145 (Hagden Lane/Vicarage Road), A4178 (Fearnley Street/The Hornets/Merton Road/Cassio Road), A412 Rickmansworth Road and Whippendell Road

or via Whippendell Road, A412 Rickmansworth Road, A4178 (Cassio Road/ Merton Road/Wiggenhall Road/Farraline Road) and A4145 (Vicarage Road/ Hagden Road).

3. that length of Victoria Road, Watford from its junction with Leavesden Road south eastwards for its entire length.

There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-

1. that length of Bragmans Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Poles Hill north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 672m.

An alternative route will be via Poles Hill, Flaunden Lane and Bragmans Lane.

2. that length of Bucks Hill, Sarratt from its junction with Toms Hill north westwards to its junction with The Common, a distance of approximately 2167m.

An alternative route will be via Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Fir Tree Hill, Langlebury Lane, A41 Watford Road, A4251 (Watford Road/High Street), Vicarage Lane, Chipperfield Road, Langley Road, Chapel Croft, The Street and The Common.

3. that length of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Berry Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 360m.

An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Valley Road, A404 (Chorleywood Road/ Rickmansworth Road) and Dog Kennel Lane.

4. that length of Loudwater Lane, Loudwater from its junction with Sarratt Lane south eastwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with A404 Chorleywood Road, a distance of approximately 1027m.

An alternative route will be via Loudwater Lane, The Green, A412 (Scots Hill/Park Road) and A404 Chorleywood Road.

5. that length of Redhall Lane, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Sarratt Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Fir Tree Hill, a distance of approximately 1013m.

An alternative route will be via Sarratt Road, The Green, Baldwins Lane, A412 (Watford Road/Rickmansworth Road/St Albans Road), A411 Hempstead Road, A41 Hempstead Road/Watford Road), Langlebury Lane and Fir Tree Hill

or via Fir Tree Hill, Langlebury Lane, A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead Road), A411 Hempstead Road/Hyde Road/The Avenue), A412 (St Albans Road/ Rickmansworth Road/Watford Road), Baldwins Lane, The Green and Sarratt Road.

6. that length of Stag Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Long Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Shepherds Lane, a distance of approximately 769m.

An alternative route will be via Long Lane, A412 (Denham Way/Uxbridge Road), Church Lane and Shepherds Lane.

7. that length of Toms Hill, Chandlers Cross from its junction with Bucks Hill south eastwards to its junction with Chandlers Lane, a distance of approximately 330m.

An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, The Common, The Street, Chapel Croft, Langley Road, Chipperfield Road, Vicarage Lane, A4251 (High Street/ Watford Road), A41 (Watford Road/Hempstead Road), A411 Hempstead Road, Grove Mill Lane, Fir Tree Hill, Redhall Lane and Chandlers Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

1. that length of Bushey Mill Lane, Watford/Bushey from its junction with Berry Grove south eastwards for a distance of approximately 226m.

An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Lane, A412 St Albans Road, A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way/Otterspool Way), B462 Hartspring Lane, Park Avenue and Bushey Mill Lane

or via Bushey Mill Lane, Park Avenue, B462 Hartspring Lane, A41 (North Western Avenue/Otterspool Way/North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue), A412 St Albans Road and Bushey Mill Lane.

2. that length of Gammons Lane, Watford from its junction with Howard Close north westwards for a distance of approximately 39m.

An alternative route will be via Gammons Lane, Longspring, The Harebreaks, Leggatts Way and Gammons Lane.

3. the A41 southbound slip road leading onto A41 Otterspool Way, Watford from its junction with the A4008 Stephenson Way/M1 junction 5 roundabout south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with A41 Otterspool Way, a distance of approximately 366m.

An alternative route will be via A41 (North Western Avenue Colne Way/North Western Avenue), the A41 The Dome roundabout and A41 (North Western Avenue/North Western Avenue Colne Way/Otterspool Way).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

The Order will come into effect from 8 June 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

2. that length of Rhodes Way, Watford from its junction with Colonial Way south westwards for its entire length.

1. that length of A411 Barnet Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with Deacons Hill Road south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with the Furzehill Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 1352m.

An alternative route will be via A411 Barnet Lane, A1 Barnet Way (Barnet Bypass), A41 Edgware Way (Watford Bypass), A5183 (Elstree Hill South/High Street) and A411 Barnet Lane.

2. that length of Rousebarn Lane, Croxley Green from its junction with Little Green Lane south eastwards to its junction with Lodge End, a distance of approximately 365m.

An alternative route will be via Church Street, A404 Riverside Drive, Wensum Way and High Street.

2. that length of High Street, Rickmansworth from its junction with Parsonage Road north eastwards to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 103m.

An alternative route will be via Parsonage Road, Rectory Road, A412 Rectory Road, A404 Riverside Drive, Church Street and High Street.

3. that length of Station Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with High Street north westwards to its junction with Northway, a distance of approximately 44m.

An alternative route will be via High Street and Northway.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
