Mount Road - Temporary Road Closure To Railway Inspection
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MOUNT ROAD, SWADLINCOTE
WHEN: 15 June to 16 June 2026 (20:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: Mount Road, Swadlincote between The Scotts and Burton Road.
REASON: To facilitate railway inspection.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Mount Road, Burton Road, High Cross, Linton Road, Hillside Road, The Scotts and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
