TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 150276890 : The City of Manchester (Smedley Road, Harpurhey Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) & Temporary Suspension of One-One Way Traffic Smedley Road Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on From Queens Road to Batty Street .& Street to Collyhust road . Suspension of One-One Way Traffic from Batty The alternative routes for traffic will be: Queens Road, Collyhurst Road, Smedley Road and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Remedial works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 30th May 2026 to 12th June 2026. The order shall come into operation on 30th May 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
