(PUBLIC FOOTPATH FP0601014 FULWOOD, PRESTON AND A LENGTH OF NON DEFINITIVE ROUTE TO WHICH THE PUBLIC HAVE ACCESS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily all traffic from proceeding over the routes indicated below:-
Public Footpath FP0601014 Fulwood, Preston and a length of non definitive route to which the public have access from Point A (SD5635 3367) at the junction with FP0607022 Haighton Preston, in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres to Point B (SD5641 3366) at the junction with Footpaths FP0601013 and FP0601015, Fulwood, Preston.
The closure is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public.
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpath, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpath, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the notice shall apply to emergency service vehicles, public rights of way officers of the County Council on foot or to those undertaking any necessary
Works.
The Order will be operative from the 19th May, 2026, for a period of 6 months or until any necessary works are completed within this period.
