THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION)(AMENDMENT NO. 589) ORDER 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 26 th May 2026 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) on Cosway Street, introduce 3.1 metres of "at any time" loading restrictions on the north-east side, at its junction with Shroton Street;

(b) on Hayes Place, introduce "at any time" loading restrictions on both sides, at its junction with Lisson Grove;

(c) on Lisson Grove:
(i) introduce 17.1 metres of double yellow line "at any time" waiting and loading restrictions on the north-east side, outside St. Edward's Catholic Primary School;

(ii) introduce "at any time" loading restrictions on the northeast side, extending south-eastward from its junction with Hayes Place for 15.5 metres; and

(iii) extend the double yellow line "at any time" waiting and loading restrictions on the south-west side, at its junction with the north-western kerb-line of Shroton Street, northwestward for 14.1 metres; and

(d) on Shroton Street:
(i) relocate the pay-by-phone parking place on the northwest side, outside No. 6, south-westward by 9.7 metres;

(ii) introduce double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions on the north-west side, adjacent to Nos. 49 to 51 Lisson Grove and outside No. 6 Shroton Street; and

(iii) introduce "at any time" loading restrictions on the southeast side, from its junction with Cosway Street to outside No. 44.

3. The Orders, which will come into force on 30th May 2026, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 7 th July 2026 at https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
