RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Lwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Nefyn Rhif 20d yng nghymuned Morfa Nefyn o bwynt A (Cyfeirnod Grid Arolwg Ordnans SH 27597 41596), gan deithio i gyfeiriad y Gogledd Ddwyrain am bellter o oddeutu 445 metr i bwynt B (Cyf. Grid AO SH 27771 41904), gyda’r ddau bwynt wedi eu lleoli ar y llwybr cyhoeddus dan sylw (20D Nefyn).

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn dilyn tirlithriad peryglus.

Y llwybr amgen yw Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Nefyn Rhif 34 sydd yn rhedeg uwchben pentref Porthdinllaen i gyfeiriad y Bâd Achub. 

Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar yr 20fed o Fai 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na chwe mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y llwybr, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua chwe mis. 

Os na chwblheir y gwaith o fewn chwe mis gellir ymestyn y Gorchymyn am gyfnod pellach o chwe mis gyda chaniatâd Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru.

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(NEFYN PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.20D (EMERGENCY CLOSURE))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from proceeding in either direction along that length of Nefyn Public Footpath No.20d in the community of Morfa Nefyn from point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SH 27597 41596), travelling in a North Easterly direction for a distance of approximately 445 metres to point B (OS Grid Ref. SH 27771 41904), both located on Footpath 20D Nefyn.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public following a dangerous landslide.

The alternative route is Nefyn Public Footpath No.34 which runs above Porthdinllaen village to the Lifeboat Station.

The Order came into effect on the 20th of May, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the path is completed, whichever is the earlier. 

If the work is not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a further period of six months with the approval of the National Assembly for Wales. 

At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately six months.
