TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (EGERTON PLACE) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Egerton place, to be closed from outside of number 10 to the end of the Road.
The Road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs until 18.00hrs on Thursday 4th June 2026, with a backup date of Tuesday 9th June 2026
Diverted Through traffic to use Egerton Place, Egerton Terrace
The One-way working of Egerton Place is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- Anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
