TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (KYNANCE MEWS) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Kynance Mews to be closed at the junction of Gloucester Road.
The Road is to be closed to vehicles for Building works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 8th June 2026 until 18.00hrs on Friday 11th December 2026, with backup dates of Monday 15th June 2026 until Friday 18th December 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Gloucester Road, Cornwall Gardens, Launceston Place and Kynance Mews in both directions Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
- anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
- Anything done in connection with the execution of said works
