What is happening?
PROVISION OF PUFFIN CROSSING ON GILT HILL, KIMBERELY AND RELOCATION OF BUS STOP CLEARWAYS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to install a signalised puffin crossing on Gilt Hill, Kimberley in the Borough of Broxtowe.
1. The proposals will incorporate a controlled area, indicated by zig-zag markings along the carriageway where parking, stopping and loading will be prohibited. The extents of the controlled areas are:-
Gilt Hill, Kimberley (both sides)
• From a point 15 metres north-west of its junction with Digby Street in a north-westerly direction for 44 metres.
2. Other restrictions:- Bus Stop Clearway - No Stopping At Any Time, except Buses
Eastwood Road, Kimberley (the south-west side)
• From a point 37 metres south-east of the centre line of Digby Street in a south-easterly direction 19 metres.
Gilt Hill, Kimberley (the north-east side)
• From a point opposite a point 98 metres north-west of the centre line of Digby Street in a north-westerly for 19 metres.
