Portsmouth City Council (Prince Albert Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.101) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 8th June 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
PRINCE ALBERT ROAD
From its junction with Languard Road to its junction with Reginald Road.
From its junction with Woodmancote Road to its junction with Teddington Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate Openreach works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 8th June 2026 to 12th June 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Prince Albert Road, Goldsmith Avenue, Milton Road, Eastney Road, Henderson Road, Eastney Roundabout, Highland Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
