U51M – TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
“The Aberdeenshire Council (U51m, Bents, Alford – 28.05.26) (Temporary Closure to Vehicular Traffic) Order, 2026” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 28.05.26 for 14 days and will prohibit any person from driving on the U51m, Bents, Alford from the junction with the A944 to Mill of Bandley, Alford.
Access will be provided for emergency and vehicles requiring access to properties but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
The temporary restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety during fibre installation works. An alternative route is available via the U51m, B992, A944 and vice versa.
