North Cadbury - Temporary Road Closures Due To Phased Fibre Installation Works
What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of North Cadbury Temporary Closure of Cary Road and Ridgeway Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Cary Road (26th - 28th May 2026) - from the junction with Sandbrook Lane to the junction with North Town Lane and Ridgeway Lane (29th May - 5th June 2026) - from the junction with Parish Hill, westwards for a distance of 534 metres. A total distance of 635 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Internet to carry our phased fibre installations works.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th May 2026 and last until 5th June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 11 days.
