NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.
- The effect of the Order will be to close Brookwood Road from its northern junction with Parkside Avenue to its southern junction with Parkside Avenue.
- The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for ducting installation.
- The alternative route will be Parkside Avenue.
- The Order will come into force on 9th June 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 11th June 2026.
