Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: St Catherines Hill - from the junction with Tolbury Lane to the junction with High Street. A total distance of 136 metres. This Order will enable SAS Utilities to repair and reinstate failed defects on behalf of Gigaclear.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 26th May 2026 and last until 29th May 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 16:45 for a total of 4 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
