Mill Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Duct Excavation Works

Somerset Council Parish of Beckington Temporary Closure of Mill Lane

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Mill Lane - from 29 metres south-west of the junction with Horse Close, south-westwards for a total distance of 19 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to excavate and lay new duct.

The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 27th May 2026 and last until 27th May 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 1 day. There is no alternative route for this closure.
