TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council made the above Order on 18th May 2026.
1. The effect of the Order will be to will be close North East Road from its junction with Pembroke Road to its junction with Old School Close.
2. The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for sluice valve repairs.
3. The alternative routes will be Cunningham Crescent, North East Road, Pangbourne Close, Franklyn Avenue and Pembroke Road.
4. The Order will come into force on 25th May 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be complete by 1st June 2026.
