(City Wide) Order 2025 – Amendment Order No.19 2026 – Kirkgate, Otley
Notice Is Hereby Given that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 & 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions. 1. No Waiting at any Time on: Kirkgate (East side); from Market Place, southerly for 77m and (East side); from a point 93m south of Market Place; southerly to a point 20.5m north of Bondgate. 2. A Parking Place for vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Persons’ Badge (between 10.00am and 4.00pm) and for Loading only (4.00pm until Midnight) on: Kirkgate (West side); from a point 108.5m south of Beech Hill; southerly for 7m and (East side); from a point 77m south of Market Place, southerly for 16m. 3. Time Limited Waiting operating between 8.00am and 6.00pm (30 minutes – no return within 1 hour) on: Kirkgate (West side); from a point 67.5m south of Beech Hill; southerly for 26m. 4. A Parking Place for vehicles displaying a valid Disabled Persons’ Badge only on: Kirkgate (West side); from a point 23m north of Mercury Row; northerly for 13.5m.
