Temporary Closure of Sutton Montis Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Sutton Montis Road - from 205 metres south-west of the junction with Rectory Hill, south-westwards for a total distance of 112 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out remedial defect works.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 28th May 2026 and last until 28th May 2026 between the hours of 09:00 - 16:00 for a total of 7 hours.
